Get Cooking - Prairie on Plate Dinner

Join us for this special Taste Alberta 'Prairie on the Plate' Burger Club Wednesday on August 8, 2018.


Taste Alberta’s Prairie on the Plate dining series invites chefs to create a unique meal that celebrates ingredients, farmers, and producers from commodity groups that make up Taste Alberta including Alberta Canola Producers, Egg Farmers of Alberta, Alberta Milk, Alberta Pulse Growers Commission, Alberta Chicken Producers, Alberta Turkey, and Alberta Pork.

The Get Cooking team will feature four delectable burgers all featuring the best of Alberta:

Vietnamese pork burger, cilantro-lime mayo, picked herbs turkey & sage burger, cranberry compote chicken & preserved lemon, grilled zucchini, tahini spread beef & blue cheese, red onion, tomato & lettuce, ketchup

Included with your choice of burger are our house made fries and dipping sauces, or a seasonal market salad if you prefer.

In addition, we'll have a menu featuring a starter of deep-fried chick peas, a crème brûlée or strawberry shortcake and elder flower whipped cream desserts, and burger add-ons (like a fried egg or pan-fried halloumi cheese) will be available on the night.

A selection of wines, beers and summer cocktails can be purchased at our bar. Doors are open from 4:45 to 9:00 pm - ticket holders will be contacted by email to reserve a time. Walk-ins and takeaways will be welcomed on a first come first serve basis.

Vegetarian & gluten free substitutions are available on request.

Price: $18, plus GST. Your Price Includes: Your choice of burger served with fries or a market salad.
